Residential Inspections

If you're planning on buying or selling a home, then hiring a home inspector could save you thousands of dollars. It will also help you understand the property you want to buy and the possible defects. For sellers, it can provide insight into a home to know what to expect and can make repairs before listing a property.

Water Sample Testing

A water quality test is performed by an inspector who looks for contaminants in the water supply. While public water systems must test and treat their water before distributing it, these tests only cover water that hasn't left the treatment plant. Before your water enters your home’s supply line, it travels through miles of pipes. Some of these pipes might be in poor condition or they could contain lead. The inspector checks for pH levels, fluoride levels (which may be too high), mineral contaminants (including iron, arsenic, and lead), and heavy metals (such as copper and lead).

Pre-Drywall Inspections

It becomes increasingly difficult to inspect these important parts of your home when the drywall is installed, which means it's imperative to get a preemptive inspection.

Mold/Air Quality Inspections

Indoor air quality (IAq) has become a major concern when buying homes. Many materials used in new construction contain alarmingly high levels or toxic formaldehyde and harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Studies have shown that smoke, funga spores, and chemicals used by most man-made products such as certain paints, varnish, and cleaners are harmful to humans. Find out what you'll be breathing with an IAq test.

11-Month Warranty Inspections

Most builders offer a one-year warranty on a new home. We perform a full home inspection before the builder’s warranty expires. Just because your home is new, doesn’t necessarily mean it is defect-free. At your 11-month mark, take advantage of your last chance to take advantage of your warranty!
